David is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in insurance accounting and finance, including financial reporting, taxation, cash management and planning and budgeting. David began his career with the Variable Annuity Life Ins. Co. (an American General company) in 1988, serving in a variety of capacities including Financial Reporting Manager. In 1995, he joined Gulf States Financial Services as Director of Finance working with multiple insurance product lines. Prior to joining SureTec, David served as a Vice President for American National Insurance Co.
David is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting. He has two sons and makes his home in Houston with his wife, Elizabeth.
