With a background in Bank, Mortgage and Insurance Operations and Management, Steve has been with SureTec since its inception. A graduate of the University of Texas--Dallas with a degree in Finance, Steve began his career in 1974 in a Dallas area commercial bank. After a few years in the mortgage and insurance business, Steve joined Universal Surety of America and John Knox, Jr. in their Dallas office in 1991, moved to Houston in 1995 and to SureTec in 1998.
Steve and his wife Stephanie make their home in Houston, where Steve is an avid baseball fan and plays senior league softball twice a week.
