Over the next nine years he handled both the commercial and contract surety needs of a very diverse clientele. For the last seven years, Morris has been a producer in a local agency specializing in the surety and insurance needs of contractors. He is currently serving his third term as chairman of the Insurance Committee for the Houston Contractors Association.
A native Houstonian, he graduated from Westbury High School and then from Baylor University. Morris and his wife Elizabeth live on the northeast side of Houston in Kingwood with their daughter Hannah. He is active in their church and likes to spend time outdoors hunting, fishing or golfing, as well as attending as many of Hannah’s volleyball games and other activities as he can.
