Bill King
President, SureTec Insurance CompanyBill's
surety career has been concentrated in the underwriting
of contract surety. In 1976, he began his career with the Travelers
Indemnity Company, moving in 1980 to Highlands Insurance Company, where
he handled construction accounts domiciled exclusively in Texas. In
1991, Bill moved back to Texas to open an office for ICW Surety. At
the time of his
departure from ICW, Bill was responsible for a nine office
region in seven states.
He is a founding Board Member and the current Chairman of the
Texas Surety Federation. Bill is also Vice-Chairman of
the National Association of Independent Sureties.
Bill and his wife, Shawn, have two children and three
grandchildren, and
make their home in Houston, Texas.
