Lindey began his surety career in 1989 with Titan Indemnity Company in San Antonio, Texas. He joined Universal Surety of America in 1994, working in the San Antonio office and eventually opening an office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1997 shortly after the merger with CNA Surety. In 1999 Lindey moved to St. Louis, Missouri and opened a Small & Specialty office for CNA Surety as Regional Vice President serving a five state region. In 2004 he received the call from John Knox to come home to Texas and be part of the management team at SureTec. He currently serves as a Senior Underwriter and Vice President working from the Austin Office.
Lindey attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and has held various positions in local Surety Associations during his travels around the country. Lindey has been married to his wife Patricia for 12 years and they have three children Victoria, Julia and Morgan.
