Dale began his surety career in 1986 with United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company in Memphis, TN. He spent four years in USF&G’s Atlanta office underwriting contract, commercial and fidelity business. In 1991, he moved to St. Louis to join Reliance Insurance Co., where he underwrote all three lines of surety business. In 1993, Dale returned to Atlanta with Reliance as the Regional Marketing Manager in their Express Surety division, handling Commercial Surety & Fidelity in four states. In 1998, he was named Regional Manager for CIGNA/ACE Group, handling Commercial Surety & Fidelity in an eight-state area.
In 2003, Dale opened an office for Capitol Insurance as the Southeast Regional Manager handling Commercial Surety, Fidelity and Non-Contract Performance bonds in ten states. By 2009, the office had grown from two to ten employees, with a premium volume in excess of $11 million. That year, he joined SureTec as Vice President of Commercial Surety, facilitating the company’s regional expansion with the opening of the Atlanta branch.
He has served as President of the Surety Association of Georgia (SAOG) and the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta. He is presently active with the SAOG, Florida Surety Association (FSA) and National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP).
Dale is a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He and his wife have been married for 22 years and has three daughters.
