After graduating from Central College in Pella, Iowa in 1997, Cam joined Merchants Bonding Company as a contract bond underwriter trainee. He spent two years in Merchants’ home office in Des Moines before being transferred to their Austin, Texas branch in March of 1999. There, he dedicated the next three years to marketing, underwriting and servicing small- to mid-size construction contractors. In June of 2002, Cam accepted a job with Liberty Mutual Surety in their Dallas branch office handling the contract bond needs of large and jumbo construction contractors. In 2003, Cam returned to his small- to mid-sized construction contractor underwriting roots when he joined SureTec.
Cam and his wife, Megan, reside in Allen, Texas with their son, Blake. Cam enjoys spending time with his family, cars, movies, virtually all types of sports and playing with the family dogs.
