Bill is a native Texan and a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M University. He started his career in the bond business in 1987 with Safeco in Dallas, Texas. He moved to San Antonio in 1990, and in 1991 was hired by Universal Surety of America to open a San Antonio office. Bill developed a very successful branch office for USA in San Antonio, growing from one employee to five and building the office to over $2MM in premium volume. In 1998 Bill left the company side of the bond business to work on the agency side, working for two major agencies in San Antonio. In 2008 Bill joined SureTec as their Senior Underwriter handling business in San Antonio and South Texas.

Bill holds the AFSB designation and is on the board of directors for both ABC and CFMA. He and wife Ginger have been married for 22 yrs and have three sons – Harrison, Cameron and Morgan.
