Bill King Joins SureTec Management Team
HOUSTON (May 16, 2005) SureTec Financial Corp. announced today
that Bill King has been named President of its Texas
based surety underwriting subsidiary, SureTec
Insurance Company.
John Knox, Jr., Chairman and CEO of SureTec Financial,
announced, “SureTec has prospered and grown on the
strength of some of the best talents in the surety industry.
Bill Kings experience and industry knowledge will complement the
exceptional management team we have already assembled.
He joins Steve Nelson, Bob Cave and me as part of our
executive leadership.”
Bill began his career with the Travelers in 1976. Most recently,
he was Vice President of ICW Surety. Bill managed and
helped develop ICW's Southern Region, which includes
nine offices in seven states. He is a founding Board Member, and the current
Chairman, of the Texas Surety Federation, a trade and
advocacy association consisting of surety carriers and
independent surety producers doing business in the State of Texas. Bill is
also Vice-Chairman of the National Association of Independent Sureties.
